“God’s Work. Our Hands.”

Trinity is a congregation dedicated to living out the motto “God’s Work. Our Hands.” We gather in worship to nurture our faith, celebrate God’s presence, and reach out in service to our community and the world. Our worship life is musically rich, intellectually engaging, joyous, and deeply sacramental. We are a caring people who embrace God’s hope and strive to reflect Christ’s love in all we do.

Rooted in a long history of faith and fellowship, Trinity’s story began in the summer of 1856, when the first Norwegian immigrants settled in this area. The congregation was officially organized in January 1881, and for generations, Trinity has continued to be a welcoming community of faith grounded in God’s Word and grace.

At Trinity, we believe our children and youth are not only the future of the church—they are an essential part of its life today. Our young people participate in a variety of engaging, faith-building experiences throughout the year, including Sunday School held during worship, our F.I.S.H. (Faith In Serving Him) after-school ministry, confirmation classes, and an exciting Vacation Bible School each summer. Through these programs, children and youth grow in their relationship with God, form lasting friendships, and learn what it means to live out their faith through love and service.

Together, we worship, learn, and serve—living out God’s calling to be His hands in the world.
